Parallel evolution may be defined as a type of similar evolution that occur between the organisms that are located far away may be in different country or on different island.

The Bison and Wildbeest shows the similar adaptation because of the similarities in the environment. They have always been on different island but evolution parallel and have similar morphology as well as physiology. They represent the convergent evolution.
