A situation in where the supervisor can delegate assignments to the staff nurses in caring for the neonate of the mother with gonorrhea is when the baby is already under treatment as gonorrhea is a communicable disease. Another if the baby and the mother has received treatment and the nurse wear proper personnel protective equipment then a nurse can be assigned to that specific client.
