    False

    Explanation:

Impulsive risk taking behaviour is dependent on the emotional backing. When a person feels rewarded or elevated emotionally (both positive and negative emotion), he / she projects impulsive behaviour.

Case of impulsive risk taking based on positive emotions - When a person is rewarded for some of his/her work, then in the spontaneous behaviour caused by excitement leads to high level of impulsivity which enhances the risk taking behaviour of an individual. for example - taking risking in business investment after a successful previous investment.

Case of impulsive risk taking based on negative emotions - When a person has negative emotion after having alcohol, or any drug, then out of impulsive behavior they drive very fast on road irrespective of the risk involved in it.

Hence, the given statement is false
