You record the sea temperature at 12°N 45°W to be 27.5°C, the humidity to be very high, and a very light breeze. Do you expect a hurricane to form in these conditions? Explain why or why not.

    Yes, because if you're close to the sea then you will be in a warmer climate. and Ocean currents affect climate in a way similar to winds. Ocean currents move water around the ocean. Warm water currents are currents that move water away from the equator, and cold water currents are currents that move water away from the poles.

    Places that are near warm water currents will have a warmer climate. Places that are near cold water currents will have a colder climate.
