Evaluate Anna's list and her conclusion. Do you agree or disagree, why or why not?

A) Anna is incorrect. ALL cellular processes require ATP energy, including glycolysis, osmosis, and diffusion.

B) Anna is correct that all cellular processes that require energy require ATP, but those that do not require energy occur without ATP. However, the process of glycolysis requires the input of ATP energy.

C) Anna is correct that all cellular processes that require energy require ATP, but those that do not require energy occur without ATP. Her chart is accurate detailing processes requiring and not requiring ATP energy.

D) Anna is correct that all cellular processes that require energy require ATP, but those that do not require energy occur without ATP. However, the process of osmosis requires the input of ATP energy and the process of DNA synthesis does not.

The correct option is B. Anna is correct that all cellular processes that require energy require ATP, but those that do not require energy occur without ATP. However, the process of glycolysis requires the input of ATP energy.

    Explanation:

ATP is the main energy driving molecule which is required by every cell of the body to carry out normal cell functions. Hence, ATP is known as the energy currency for a cell.

However, there might be some processes which do not require energy. These process include the process of diffusion, osmosis etc which occur along the concentration gradient.

The process of glycolysis and Kreb's Cycle require ATP.
