    Risk factors include the following:

    Medications - some medications alter the chance of women to ovulate. This can also alter the hormonal processes in a woman's body

    Age - women of older age has less chance of conceiving. The egg's quantity and quality declines as the woman age

    Weight - being overweight may affect hormone production and prevent ovulation

    Alcohol - having more than one alcoholic drink per day increases the chande of ovulation disorder

    Tobacco - Smoking can damage the quality of egg cell and can lead to infertility. This can also lead to problems during pregnancy.
