Rh + blood can be given only once to a non-sensitized person who is Rh - because it develops antibodies and after one exposure blood will be rejected. If an Rh - person is sensitive to Rh + blood and receives a transfusion of Rh + blood, it is likely that the donors cells will be rejected and the blood cells will be killed.
