    Speed (c) = wavelength (λ) * frequency (f)

    Explanation:

    The wavelength denoted by (λ), is the distance between two successive waves. The wavelength of a wave us calculated by using the formula: (λ) = c/f.

    Where; λ = wavelength

    c = velocity or speed

    f = frequency

    Based on this, the speed of a wave can be calculated by making (c) the subject of the formula in λ=c/f.

    We have; c = λf

    Hence, the speed of a wave equals the wavelength (λ) multiplied by the frequency (f).
