Walnut trees produce edible seeds with a hard outer covering. Maple trees produce seeds with winglike edges. What type of seed dispersal applies to each type of tree?

    The walnut tree's seeds are ingested by an animal and then deposited somewhere else through that animal's feces. The maple tree disperses the seeds by wind. The wind can carry the seeds far distances.
