Cell division or mitosis is a nuclear cell division that results to two daughter cells having the same genetic code as the parent cell. The division starts at the nucleus. The chromosomes divide into two and a spindle is formed at middle of the cell. The spindle shortens and breaks resulting to two daughter cells.
