Diploid chromosomes.
Diploid is basically a cell which contains two sets of chromosomes from each parent. In humans, the diploid chromosomes number is always the same and is always even.
Chromosomes are always in pair, and which is why every human being have an even number of chromosomes. Every child gets its chromosomes from both the parent, half from mother and half from father. All the cells in humans except the sex cells are diploid. Sex cells on the other hand are called haploid.
