You tried to give 2 breaths to an unconscious choking infant, but the air did not go in. you repositioned the head and reattempted 2 breaths. the air still did not go in or make the chest rise. what should you do next?

    The next thing to do in this case is to perform a finger sweep. Put one of your finger in the infant's mouth to check if there is any object in the mouth. If an object is present in the mouth, it will block the airway and will not allow the rescue breaths to penetrate. If an object is present in the mouth, remove it and attempt giving the two breaths again.
