    The most important factors that affect the weathering are climate, time, mineral composition, exposure and particle size. Climate is measured in temperature and moisture. When we peak of time it deals with million of years often used as units. Physical and chemical properties are determined by mineral composition. Rocks that is exposed to the atmosphere tends to weather much quicker. Particular size of material can affect the weather.
