Option A : Salt and water are a mixture

    Explanation:

The salt and water solution are best example of homogeneous mixture. Salt dissolves in the water completely and splits up into sodium and chloride ions. The solution is clear and is difficult or you may say impossible to separate by filtration.

This mixture of salt and water when left on the table for few days. it undergoes evaporation under the room temperature. All the water in the mixture evaporates leaving behind the salt in the bowl. Hence only the the bowl is covered with salt when left out on the table for few days
