Weather maps contain several standard symbols to convey information about the weather. Explain how to interpret three of those symbols.

    Among which are the just the commonly used symbols typically found in weather maps:

    Bold letter "H" - it indicates a high pressure system

    Bold letter "L" - indicates a low pressure system

    The symbols above are used when indicating pressure systems or fronts.

    On the other hand, for symbols of precipitation:

    2 small dot - indicates rain

    2 small asterisks - indicates snow
