What are the dangers of rapid binary fission of prokaryotes?

    What are the dangers to humans?

    What are the dangers to the prokaryotes?

    I'll answer the latter, but if it's the first one, let me know.

    It can be harmful to the prokaryotes because if a harmful substance is brought in, none of them will survive because they have identical genomes.
