    The correct answer will be option D.

    Explanation:

    The virus is the infective agents which are made up of assembled macromolecules like proteins, lipids, nucleic acids and carbohydrates.

    These are not considered as living organism as they do not possess the characters of a living cell like metabolism.

    They are unable to do anything without a host cell that is it needs the machinery of the host cell to live like the replication machinery which is used by the virus to replicate inside the cell.

    Thus, they are not considered living organisms and option D is the correct answer.
