    1. Confusion

    2. Poor cough

    3. Shallow breathing

    4. Elevated temperature effort.

    Poor pain control can result in confusion as a result of hypo ventilation and inadequate sleep. It can also reduce tidal volume and cough efforts, this in turn may leads to other complications including elevated temperature.
