When one organism is removed from a n environment, causing ecological effects beyond what we would expect, it is known as B. Trophic Cascade.

    Explanation:

Removing one organism from an environment will cause a disturbance in any of the food chain or food web in which the organism was a participant. When that organism is removed it will Have a significant effect on population of its Prey or predator. The effect of removal will not only limit to population of related organisms but it will extend to the amount of abiotic resources utilized. Hence the entire ecosystem will be effected. According to the definition of Trophic cascade, they are strong interactions that result from removal or addition of any organism in the ecosystem. The ywill not only affect the concerned food chain but will have a larger and extended effect on the ecosystem in which the organism existed. Thus, B. trophic cascade is the best choice for this question.
