What is the difference between dominant And recessive genes?

    Dominant genes (represented by captial letters in the allele) are those that can be physically seen in the phenotype of an organism, whereas recessive genes (represented by lower-case letters in the allele) are those that are not seen in the phenotype, but can still be carried by parents and children.
