Describe three main features inside of a prokaryotic cell

Prokaryotic cells have the following features:

1) The genetic material (DNA) is localized to a region called the nucleoid which has no surrounding membrane.

2) The cell contains large numbers of ribosomes that are used for protein synthesis.

3) At the periphery of the cell is the plasma membrane.

The three main features are the plasma membrane, Cytoplasm, and Ribosomes.
