If you hear a higher pitch from a clarinet than from a saxophone, how do the frequencies of the sound waves from the clarinet compare to those of the saxophone? The saxophone's waves have a higher frequency than the clarinet. The clarinet's waves have a higher frequency than the saxophone. The frequencies are the same; the difference is due to the horn. not enough information.

    Well the sound waves from the clarinet are more spread apart but the clarinet is make a more fast paced wave length creating the high pitch.
