If a white dwarf adds material from a nearby red giant, what is the result?

It'd be pink? I don't really understand the question but if you mix a white dwarf with a red giant it would be pink and giant most likely due to the fact that the chromosomes and DNA from the red giant would overturn the white DNA and chromosomes
