It is because Muscle fatigue developed.

Muscle fatigue is the declined in ability of a muscle to generate force. It can result from vigorous exercises but abnormal fatigue may be caused by barriers to or interference with the different stages of muscle contraction. This condition is completely reversible once the body has recovered from physical exertion.
