Transition metals belong to the group 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 and 12 of periodic table.
Explanation:
Transition metals are special type of metals which contains two outermost shell instead of one outermost shell that is present in group A element. Group A element belongs to alkali, alkaline earth metals, noble family, halogens etc. Transition metals are ductile and malleable and good conductors of electricity and heat.
