Suppose chromosomes in a skin cell are damaged by ultraviolet radiation. if the damaged genes do not effect cell cycle regulation, do you think the cell will become cancerous? explain

    It shouldn’t become cancerous if the cell cycle is not damaged. When changes in the chromosomes are detected by the cell, it will enter the G0 stage of interphase and will no longer divide.
