    The answer would be true

    A person with a schizoid personality disorder will have a certain strange behavior, but it should be able to function in most of the daily life.

    A chronic schizophrenic patient will have many problems in function because of their inability to process information. Delusion and hallucination would make them much harder to communicate than personality disorder like schizoid.
