Cumulus, stratus, and cirrus are all the main types of clouds. Cumulus clouds are indicators of fair weather but can turn into thunderstorms. Stratus clouds are flat clouds that are indicators of steady rains. Cirrus clouds are high up the sky which are made up of ice particles and are indicators of a fine weather.
