Creosote bushes present one of the most important species in the Mojave desert ecosystem. They are one of the main producers in this ecosystem, meaning that they convert the energy from the Sun into a form of energy that other organisms in the ecosystem can use. Therefore, if al of creosote bushes disappeared it would result in eventual death of many other organisms in the ecosystem.
