    Hepatitis A virus

    Explanation:

Hepatitis A can be described as a contagious liver disease. It is caused by an infectious virus known as the hepatitis A virus.

This virus causes inflammation in the liver. Symptoms for the infection can be seen in some people while for others there are no symptoms.

Symptoms include jaundice, urine of dark colour, pale skin colour, vomiting etc.
