Sam and Joe are trying to determine whether their ideas are scientific or pseudoscientific. Sam's idea is not rejected when experiments produce different results. Joe's idea gives the same result when tested repeatedly.

    Both Ideas could be scientific. Many experiments can change result until there is an equal result all around and many expririments do get rejected, but they are still science. This happened with the insullin we now take as a supplement for diabetics.
