    Maltose, also known as malt sugar contains two glucose units or, is a disaccharide type of carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are organic molecules that comprises together with lipids, amino acids and etc. the macromolecules of the organelles in the cell body. There are three types of carbohydrates - monosaccharide (one glucose unit), disaccharide (two glucose units) and polysaccharide (more than 2 glucose units). These smaller organic molecules are what the nutrients composes and what your organelles in your cell needs.
