    Explanation:

    An example is an adaption to viviparity meaning their eggs develop inside the bodies of their mothers. The developing embryo is surrounded by amniotic fluid that mimics aquatic conditions. Pregnancy also protects the fetus from cold, heat and drought and climatic conditions that highly fluctuate on land that in water.
