Explain why the formation of the cross wall is important in binary fission

    The formation of cross wall is very important in binary fission because it is the cross wall that completely separate the two DNA copies that are formed during the process. Two completely new cells will be formed and they will be separated from each other at the end of the process and each will posses a copy of DNA.
