People have been naturally selected over and over in the way of being higher and higher. We can say this judging fossil remains of other hominid species where each species that is younger in the evolutionary sense is also taller. The current human is around 1.75m in height where all other hominids and other ancestors that are of a more distant heritage seem to be even smaller.
