a cross between two pea plants each heterozygous for both tall hieght an round seeds produces the following results : some plants are tall with round seeds, some plants are tall with wrinkled seeds some plants are short with round seeds and some plants are short with wrinkled seeds. Which of the following explains why this occurs?

    Heterozygous means that the genotype contains two different alleles. Ex: Aa

    Since both pea plants are heterozygous for both tall height and round seeds there is around a 25 percent chance their offspring could inherit the recessive trait instead of sharing the same genotype that the parent plants have.
