    the nurse should tell the teenager boy to talk more about himself. telling an individual to talk more about themselves is an open ended statement and its allows them to control the conversation. it gets rid of any form of threatening and allows individuals nurse to get more information about the client feeling prior to hospitalization. this is the best was to create initial step in client-nurse relationship. after this step, nurse may finally ask the patient about the pills.
