    Explanation:

    - The reason for this is each parent will pass only half of their gene to the child and the other half will either be from one of the parents or random (such as from their grandparents, parent's siblings, etc).

    - However, sometimes other things can occur. For example, the child can look completely like one of their parents because that parent's genes are dominant.

    For example, if you have parents, one with brown eyes, brown hair and the other one have blue eyes and blonde hair. There is a higher chance the child can come out looking like the parent with brown eyes and brown hair. The reason for this is blue eyes and blonde hair are recessive traits.
