Because there are blood vessels in ur arms those vessels branch out into capillaries and those capillaries go all the way out to ur hand and are all in ur skin everywhere so when u get cut not only is the skin open but u busted a capillari making ur skin bleed it also floats and scabs up so that it doesn't get infected and closes the skin
