Compare and contrast the gas exchange systems of fish and mammals in relation to their environments. (hint: fish have a system that works well in water; mammals have a system that works well in air. explain why each system works in its particular environment. your answer should include a discussion of countercurrent exchange.)

    Each animals gas exchange systems work in different environments because in order to be successful in that specific environment, That specific organism had to adapt to its surroundings. Therefore causing the fish to overtime adapt and grow gills so it could be more successful in it's environment.
