Describe the relationship between DNA, chromosomes, and genes.

    The chromatin further loops and coils to form the tightly condensed chromosome structure. This tight packing is important in making sure these long strings of DNA can fit inside the cell's nucleus. We can use the analogy of a city to better understand the relationship between DNA molecules, genes and chromosomes.
