Cardiac death occurs within one hour of the onset of cardiovascular symptoms.

    Explanation:

The Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD) usually occurs in an unexpected way, where an individual that is apparently healthy, suddenly starts to experiment anomalies in the heart function, like irregular palpitations (arrythmia) generated by a ventricular fibrillation, which basically makes the heart lose its capacity to contract as it should. In first instance this can lead to a loss of consciousness due to the lack of oxygen being delivered to the brain, and if no emergency intervention is made, the heart will finally stop, causing the death of the person.
