    Change in magnification from low power to high power:

    • alters the magnification of a specimen (increases the magnification),

    • changes the light intensity (decreases as magnification increases)

    • changes area of the field of view (decreases the area as magnification increases),

    • Changes depth of field (the depth of field decreases as magnification increases),

    • Changes working distance (the working distance decreases as you increase magnification).
