The existence of extensive scalded skin syndrome does not indicate that staphylococcus is growing in all the affected areas. why not?

    The answer is that this condition is caused by an exotoxin (a toxin which is released by a living bacterial cell into its surroundings.) delivered by specific strains of this organism, and not specifically by the micro-organisms itself.
