It will be broken down before reaching the bloodstream by the stomach enzymes.

    Explanation:

Insulin is always injected in the blood stream so that it can directly act on the blood glucose levels and cause a decrease in it. It cannot be given through oral route as it will be broken down by the gastric enzymes thus it cannot enter the blood stream and cannot control blood glucose levels.
