What happens to a food chain when an organism is removed

    The creatures beneath that organism in the food chain experience exponential (quickly multiplying with little or no setbacks) growth because they have no predators. The creatures who rely on that organism for food die off from lack of food, and when those creatures die off, so do those above them in the food chain (because those creatures rely on the creatures beneath them for food).
