Describe how females can be carriers, but males cannot in terms of sex linked traits

    Males cannot be carriers because they do not have x chromosomes the y chromosome does not "mask" the trait causing males to have the disease that is passed.

    Females can be carriers as they have two X chromosomes while males have one X. With two X chromos they can have a dom and recessive.
