When a bird eats a small insect it can be considered a secondary consumer but what is the bird considered as when it eats seeds?

    If the bird eats a small insect that ate the seeds and is a Secondary consumer, then it was relying on another organism for food. Where as the Primary consumer eats what grows and doesn't really on another organism for food. So the answer would be Primary Consumer.
