What would you expect to find bound to the stop codon at the a site?

    There will be termination of translation. The stop codons (namely UAA, UAG, UGA) signal the ribosomal subunits to stop the translation process. In the ribosomal subunits, there will be a release factor bound to the stop codon at the A site.
