If one centromere on each chromosome is needed for proper cell division, what would you expect to happen to cells that have the products with 2 centromere

    There will be incorrect splitting or dividing of the chromosome, if this were to occur, producing chromosomal errors. Certain portions of the chromosome will be moved into one and the other incomplete sets of genes will be transferred.

    Nondisjunction or incorrect ploidy of chromosomes will result, causing the organism to not live depending on the severity of the genes.
